Bakery

All baked goods that we offer are baked in our own bakery in the town of Modra. We opened the bakery in the fall of 2006. Since that time our cakes, torts, savoury and sweet baked goods have been improved to their present forms.

All products are from our own original recipes. Quality is paramount to all other criteria in all that we do. We only use the freshest ingredients when making our baked goods. We do not replace butter with margarine and we work with original 36% cream and chocolate with 70% cocoa content. All of our work is hand produced. Our bakery team is led by a nutrition professional responsible for the creation of all our products and for adherence to all hygienic rules and regulations for handling raw foods.

In October 2010 our bakery in Modra received ISO 22000 certification. The 22000:2006 international standard is for a food safety management system and has been adapted for organisations in the food service business who want to guarantee to their customers that their products are produced in line with above-standard food safety requirements. ISO 22000 is the standard that applies around the world and includes HACCP requirements among others.
